What's the furthest away you've ever been from the place you were born/created? How did you get there? Why did you go? Did you return or even want to come back to where you came from?

Where and when haven't I been? I believe . . . yes, well, it would probably be that instance when the TARDIS completely left time and space as we understand it. It wasn't intentional, mind you. Rather a bit of a burp on the old girl's part, although I imagine Jamie would have had a more crude word to describe it. I hadn't used that emergency circuit in some time and it threw us a bit further than I had anticipated. Not the most scenic place, either, unless you're partial to white void and nothingness. Not to mention some rather clumsy, rickety White Robots who apparently have nothing better to do than menace unsuspecting travelers. Still, it did have it's charms. Rapunzel and Lemuel Gulliver, most notably. A pity they weren't real. I imagine Gulliver would have made quite an interesting companion to travel with. There's plenty of room in the TARDIS, after all.

And in answer to your question -- no, not even that void was far enough from Gallifrey to suit me . . .
